Ski amadé fun factor

As an enthusiastic skier, you like to step on the gas, preferably to have the whole slope to yourself and make fast, long turns. Especially in the high season, such wishes are more like dreams. You can find out here how to get the ultimate adrenaline kick at this time and have a lot of fun during the day of skiing:

Ski Cross

You know it from television and are quickly enthusiastic about the format. Four athletes are rushing their way through a spectacular course simultaneously to be the first to cross the finish line. Just the right thing for the brave among you. Ski amadé offers such a highlight in many regions. The big advantage: You don't have to be a professional to do the runs. The steep curves and jumps, which don't have to be jumped, are a great joy. In St. Johann, Kleinarl or Schladming such routes are available (if there is enough snow). With this activity you can quickly add variety to your skiing day.

Fun Park

There are now Fun Slopes (as Ski amadé so beautifully calls them) in all larger regions. In addition to small and large jumps, these also include rails (metal poles) and boxes to drive over, jump over or to show breathtaking tricks. The fun park highlight in Ski amadé can of course be found in the Absolut Park in Flachauwinkl/Kleinarl, but regions such as Großarl or Zauchensee also offer a welcome challenge for the brave during their stay in the ski area.

Speed Course

Being fast is the wish of many. Unfortunately, this is only very rarely possible on the open slopes and is also not without risk. In order to find out how fast you really are, there is often the possibility of measuring your speed on a specified track. Push off, crouch down and ski to the finish line at full throttle. In addition to your own fun, you will find a cool challenge with your friends here. You can find one way to do this, for example, at the "Speedcheck" in St. Johann Alpendorf or at Planai. So find the perfect squat and hit the gas!

Giant Slalom / Parallel Slalom

Another type of skiing, which is also known from television, is the giant slalom. If you've always wanted to find out whether there is a Marcel Hirscher, Marco Odermatt, a Mikaela Shiffrin or a Kathi Liensberger in you, then go to the “pole forest” in Ski amadé. You can find this in almost every region. Radstadt/Altenmarkt, Zauchensee and Wagrain are just some of the places where you will find what you are looking for. In Zauchensee there is also the possibility to compete with others in a parallel race. You both ski the same course and you can see in a direct comparison which of you is the fastest. You quickly realize that this great fun is also quite exhausting.

Off-piste

This venture is particularly suitable for the ski professionals among you. Unfortunately, we are mainly dependent on the snow conditions. But when there is finally enough snow, many are already looking for a way off the slopes and on to adventures. Knee-deep powder, dust up after the turns, jumps over snow-covered rocks and tree trunks, simply the ultimate adrenaline rush. Despite all the fun, keep in mind: Safety comes first. Avalanche equipment, helmet and back protector are an absolute MUST off the secured pistes. Before you plunge into the white gold, you should definitely check the conditions and the avalanche warning level and decide whether you are safe or not. Always remember that in the event of an accident it is not only you who are in danger, but many other people as well. In order to minimize the risk, Ski amadé offers its own off-piste routes, which are above all safe from avalanches. You can find one of these routes on the Shuttleberg, for example.

As you can see, Ski amadé offers so much more than just perfectly groomed slopes. There is something for everyone and a skiing day can be extremely diversified. Have fun!
