What sounds like a triathlon for air and mountain sports hits the nail on the head. Because the Aerothlon combines speed hiking, paragliding and mountain biking. There is only one Aerothlon in Austria - namely the one in Wagrain-Kleinarl.
Unlike other Hike & Fly events, athletes compete in the Aerothlon alone, as a tandem team or in a relay. You can also look for a partner in the Aerothlon Exchange when registering.
And what do all those do who are not actively involved? Exactly! Either you follow the race live in Wagrain-Kleinarl or you follow the athletes via live tracking.
