Snowshoe hiking
A highlight on the Graukogel is snowshoe hiking through the unique stone pine forest at the mountain station of the Graukogel cable car. Find out about the weekly stone pine snowshoe hikes on the Graukogel and enjoy a nature experience on the mountain.
Graukogel - natural snow mountain
With its long, difficult downhill runs, the Graukogel is a real challenge for top skiers. Here you can still make your turns on pure natural snow slopes. The majority of the slopes are located in the forest area and are therefore particularly sheltered from the wind, allowing good orientation in poor visibility. The Graukogel is just right for ambitious skiers and nature lovers.
Ski Touring Routes
The Graukogel is also a special tip among ski & piste tourers. There are two ski touring routes to choose from: Graukogel & Zirbenroas. There are even evening ski tours to the Graukogelhütte. In Gastein there are 9 different attractive ski touring routes for beginners to advanced skiers.
