Local delicacies as far as the eye can see – that’s already reason enough to visit the Alps’ highest located farmers market in Ski amadé. Freshly baked farmers’ bread with savoury bacon and aromatic cheese or maybe a hot Austrian doughnut with apricot jam? At the five resorts in Salzburg and Styria, skiers and snowboarders are spoilt for choice! The home-distilled liqueurs and brandies are a must-try as well – and they’ll keep you warm from the inside out.
Visitors can look forward to more than just culinary highlights, though. From alpaca products and herbal spice blends to handmade creams or little items of woodwork, many kinds of craftwork are offered.
