Mit gültigem Skipass und entsprechender Skiausrüstung fahren Wintersportler mit dem Skibus kostenlos im Gasteinertal von ihren Unterkünften direkt bis zu den Talstationen der Skigebiete. Somit erreichen Sie nicht nur ganz einfach die Skigebiete Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel, Graukogel und Dorfgastein-Großarl, sondern auch das abwechslungsreiche Freeride-Gebiet Sportgastein, sodass Sie schnellstmöglich mit den Liften und Bergbahnen zum Gipfel gelangen und die abwechslungsreichen Ski-Abfahrten genießen können. In winter, the mountains attract skiers and snowboarders. The Gastein ski region in the heart of Austria comprises 4 ski areas with a total of 220 kilometres of pistes. But cross-country skiers also love the Gastein Valley and enjoy the healthy Nordic endurance sport on the valley trail or the snow-sure high-altitude trail. Those who want to get to know the cold season from its gentler side will find the opportunity to do so on winter hikes. Tobogganing and romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides are also possible in the white landscape. Wherever you go: You will always be accompanied by the majestic natural scenery of the Gastein mountains around the Hotel Römerhof in Dorfgastein.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides in Filzmoos

This wonderful experience has a long tradition in the mountain village of Filzmoos

"The horses snort and they're lovingly decorated. They give the impression they enjoy trotting this familiar route. Wrapped up snugly in a thick blanket I can enjoy the winter wonderland passing by. Time seems to stand still for a moment."

The Skialm Kreuzkogel is located directly between the two mountain stations of the Kreuzkogelbahnen at the highest point of the Grossarltal/Dorfgastein ski area. When the weather is nice you can enjoy the unique mountain panorama on the sun terrace. The rustic and cozy hut offers space for approx. 50-60 people. A special highlight is the après-ski bar right next to the hut. 

Photoshooting on the top of the mountain - preferably on the skiline-photopoints at Gamskogel II and at Rosskopf! With your skipass you trigger the shot, get in position and don't forget the smile - click! you can watch, share and send the fotos on www.skiline.cc and on the terminals in the Weltcuparena and Highport.

In the bike park you can test your skills in the trail park and dirt park on an area of ​​approx. 10,000 m². In the trail park, the bike takes you over natural obstacles such as roots, balance elements, curves and waves. In the dirt park there are 3 lines equipped with tables and a seesaw.
