Arts and crafts market

One of the most important arts and crafts markets in Austria attracts numerous visitors to the "Old Town in the Mountains" every year. Around 100 craftspeople, designers and artists from Austria, Germany and other neighbouring countries take part in the Radstadt market. You can see and buy exclusive handicrafts made from a wide variety of materials such as ceramics, jewellery, glass, felted, knitted and embroidered items, wooden bowls, tins and much more. The craftsmanship and artistic quality on offer is of the highest standard. For years, prizes for creative craftsmanship, contemporary design, innovative product design and applied art have been awarded by an expert jury. In addition, every year there is a special exhibition for the arts and crafts market, which opens the evening before and is organised in the Zeughaus am Turm.

Original street theatre, walking acts, ring games and street music help to make the market an experience for young and old.
