The Landgasthof Bertahof in Bad Hofgastein has been located amidst the old trees and in the heart of the Gastein Valley for over 350 years. This family-run and cozy restaurant has an extraordinary reputation! Enjoy and feel good: that is the maxim for Bertahof guests.

The Bertahof is listed in Gault Millau and has received the award "very good cuisine that offers more than the everyday" since 2009.

Above all, the lamb, mostly from our own breeding, or the fresh fish from our own pond, make a visit to the Bertahof a culinary experience. Chef Robert Granitzer only uses fresh, seasonal products from the region.

The culinary offer ranges from creatively prepared regional specialties to Mediterranean delicacies and international classics.

The Bertahof has been awarded the AMA gastro seal for the use of products from surrounding regions and from Austria.

Snowshoe trail Dorfgastein between Grossarl and Dorfgastein

Ascent with the new Kieserlbahn to the mountain station at 1,954 metres. Once at the top, the first refreshment stop is the new WOLKE 7 summit restaurant with 360° panoramic terrace. The Snowshoe trail Dorfgastein leads to the Arltörl 1,797 m and on via the Heumoosalm (not serviced) to the middle station of the Fulseck summit lift. Take the cable car back up to the mountain station. Once at the top, the Hauserbauer Gipfelstadl invites you to take a cosy break. Take the winter hiking trail back to the Kieserlbahn mountain station.

Sportlich, spannend und spektakulär – das alles bietet der neue, weltweit einzigartige "Crosspark Reiteralm"!
Im kommenden Winter steht dieses neue sportliche Highlight in der 4-Berge-Skischaukel auf der Reiteralm den Gästen zur Verfügung.

"Speed out, enjoyment in!" At the highest point of the Fageralm, the "Goliath Genuss-Oase" with giant swing and giant lounger invites you to linger in pleasure. The magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are unique.  

The Skialm Kreuzkogel is located directly between the two mountain stations of the Kreuzkogelbahnen at the highest point of the Grossarltal/Dorfgastein ski area. When the weather is nice you can enjoy the unique mountain panorama on the sun terrace. The rustic and cozy hut offers space for approx. 50-60 people. A special highlight is the après-ski bar right next to the hut. 

Have you ever dreamed to look at the world with the eyes of a bird – without motor, without noise? A paragliding flight can make this dream come true. And everyone can do it – in a tandem flight! Together with a qualified and experienced tandem pilot no previous courses or special requirements are needed, just a little bit of courage.

Age: from 6 to 99 (weight from 30 kg to 100 kg)

The Laireiter Alm is located at 1,850 m directly next to the Grossarltal panorama station. It offers space for 300 to 350 people in the interior. When the weather is fine, up to 500 people can enjoy the sun on our spacious terrace.
