From the terrace, the view of the Steinerne Meer with the Hochkönig is a feast for the eyes. At only 950 m above sea level, we offer hikers and cyclists a snack, warm home cooking and home-made pastries in summer. In the winter, we offer hearty and regional mountain food for lunch and dinner. Parking available, directly at the hut.

During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Wiesenstadl some special highlights. 

March 8, 2026: 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Wine tasting at the Dachsl Winery

March 13, 2026: 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Wine tasting at the Joe Beyer Winery

In a few minutes only, the Hauser Kaibling ski lifts take you to the highest point of Schladming's four interlinked mountains at 2,015 metres. Skibus zum Nulltarif mit gültigem Skipass (ausgenommen Gruppen und Schülergruppen). Direkt vom Quartier, dem Ortskern von Haus im Ennstal, mit dem Skibus bequem und ohne Stress bis zur Talstation der 8er-Gondelbahn Hauser Kaibling und am Nachmittag wieder retour über die FIS-Talabfahrt (Piste Nr. 1a, 1b) ins Ortszentrum.

The toboggan is one of the oldest pieces of winter sports equipment in the Alps – quite simply, it’s a classic. To this day, it remains a source of infinite enjoyment for young and old alike, with countless natural and man-made runs throughout Salzburg’s many valleys.

Start: Hahnbaumalm Restaurant (altitude approx. 1.100m)
Finish: city center of Sankt Johann (altitude approx. 650m)

Easy access to the start via the Hahnbaum double chair lift. The chair is open until 4pm, later ascents possible by taxi (approx. €35.00 one way for up to 8 pax, tariff will vary according to the meter).
