Mit gültigem Skipass und entsprechender Skiausrüstung fahren Wintersportler mit dem Skibus kostenlos im Gasteinertal von ihren Unterkünften direkt bis zu den Talstationen der Skigebiete. Somit erreichen Sie nicht nur ganz einfach die Skigebiete Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel, Graukogel und Dorfgastein-Großarl, sondern auch das abwechslungsreiche Freeride-Gebiet Sportgastein, sodass Sie schnellstmöglich mit den Liften und Bergbahnen zum Gipfel gelangen und die abwechslungsreichen Ski-Abfahrten genießen können. In winter, when the cold mountain air of the Schladminger Tauern whips across your face outside, the smell of homemade Kaiserschmarren wafting over from the Schafalm lures you inside the cozy hut. The friendly staff there do their part to guarantee a perfect break before your next run down the Planai. In the winter months, the Schafalm is also home to a number of woolly four-legged creatures, "Valais blacknose sheep" who spend the winter in the adjacent barn (which you are also invited to peek inside), before returning to the lush green alpine meadows of the Planai in summer. An absolute highlight at the Schafalm, especially for younger guests.

Der Golf- & Landclub Ennstal Weissenbach – gegründet 1977 - ist der 3. älteste Golfclub der Steiermark und erst der 20. in Österreich. Die „Naturerlebnis“ 18 Loch Golfanlage ist die einzige Golfanlage in Europa, die sich in einem Europanaturschutzgebiet „Natura 2000“ befindet! 2014 wurden 5 Bahnen attraktiv und neu umgestaltetet. Das komplett neue Loch 9 gilt jetzt schon als einer der spektakulärsten Par 3 in Österreich. Der GLC Ennstal mit familiärer Atmosphäre gilt mit seinen ebensten Fairways innerhalb der Alpen als Geheimtipp und ist aus allen Richtungen via Autobahn schnell erreichbar. 

Start your day with a sumptuous breakfast buffet with regional delicacies, freshly prepared egg dishes, home-made jams, everything that you could wish for. To give you energy for your active, if requested we can provide a “Hoamat-Jause” bag of snacks. In the evening enjoy being spoiled with not only our international dishes, but also original Pinzgau specialities or vegetarian dishes.

The Naturfreunde-Schutzhaus Kaiblingalm lies at 1778 metres above sea level, in the midst of a nature jewel. The stone pine trees, the mountain pines, the small, hidden away lakes, and the bowls give our "Alm" its unique character. Here, in the Kaiblingalm area, you can simply sit back and unwind.

In winter, we try to pass on to our guests some of this piece and quiet by not turning on loud music in our dining rooms and on the terrace. Naturally we would like our visitors to enjoy good food and drink, that we prepare for you with care. Traditional, hearty local dishes will be a pleasurable culinary experience. To prepare the dishes, we use mainly local produce which we get directly at the producers. As to coffee and tea, we purchase the free-trade alternative.

Overnight stay at the Kaiblingalm

Do you remember how dark a night can be, how a sky full of stars looks like? Far away from disturbing advertising lights, you can experience this particular view from here. Away form the busy world, there is not much noise in our valley basin.
