The 7-kilometre-long natural toboggan run on the Hochwurzen, approx. 10 minutes by car from the centre of Schladming, is one of the longest toboggan runs in the Alps. It is just as inviting for tobogganing during the day as it is at night.
Toboggans can be brought along or hired directly on site. The Hochwurzen summit lift then takes you up to the Hochwurzen mountain station, where the tobogganing fun can begin.
At the Rossbrand high-altitude trail.

MOUNTAIN INN AND SKI HUT MY SPORTALM AT THE KÖNIGSLEHEN MOUNTAIN STATION IN THE RADSTADT-ALTENMARKT SKI AREA IN SKI AMADÉ
Our My Sportalm is located at 1,570 meters above sea level on the Kemahdhöhe in the Radstadt - Altenmarkt ski area. There the 4 most important cable cars of the ski area come together: Hochbifangbahn I + II, Kemahdbahn and the gondola Königslehen.
Our team around head chef Lukas Cirjak conjures up new creations every day and our sommeliers serve them the right wines.
The ambience reflects the philosophy of our kitchen: The centuries-old walls have been given a new shine without losing their original charm.
Eating & drinking in the Johann
We always rely on the best quality of our products. It is therefore only logical to obtain the majority of our meat and dairy products from our own farm in the neighboring village of Pichl.
This commitment is again worth an award for Gault Millau in 2019. This year we even got a second hood with 14.5 points. Up to now, with 14 points, we had a constant 1 hood for 7 years.
The kid's cross country ski park offers this variety. There is a large snow hill for ascents and downhills, even through gates and over jumps and other obstacles. Ball games, relays or running games can be played on this ski-playground.
On the sun terrace, you will find the après-ski bar Erlebniswelt, with breathtaking views of the Dachstein massif.
The daily "Hasenstall" - "Après Ski Party - NON STOP" - provides a holiday feeling, carefree conviviality and unforgettable hours!
The Wengeralm is located directly on the ski slopes in the Gastein Valley at 1,650 m and offers guests a spacious restaurant, a cozy bar and a sun terrace. In winter, when the cold mountain air of the Schladminger Tauern whips across your face outside, the smell of homemade Kaiserschmarren wafting over from the Schafalm lures you inside the cozy hut. The friendly staff there do their part to guarantee a perfect break before your next run down the Planai. In the winter months, the Schafalm is also home to a number of woolly four-legged creatures, "Valais blacknose sheep" who spend the winter in the adjacent barn (which you are also invited to peek inside), before returning to the lush green alpine meadows of the Planai in summer. An absolute highlight at the Schafalm, especially for younger guests.
