Der Planaihof liegt auf 1.800 m, am Ende der Planaistraße, direkt neben Onkel Willy‘s Hütte, am Sammelplatz der Skischule Planai, und rund 250 m westlich der Bergstation an der Piste 7a (Planaihof- Märchenwiese). The mountain restaurant Bodenalm is one of the ski lodges in Zauchensee/Flachauwinkl. Skiers make their stop-off here and non-skiers can travel comfortably with the Highliner I on the top.
