Skitouren gehen wird immer populärer. Nicht unbedingt im freien Gelände, sondern auch auf ganz normalen Skipisten. Aus diesem Grund gibt es in Gastein die so genannten Skitouren Abende. Jeweils Mittwoch und Freitag ist die Graukogelhütte, und jeden Donnerstag die Stubneralm bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Die Pistenpräparierung findet erst danach statt. Zusätzlich haben diese beiden Hütten auch in den Vollmondnächten geöffnet. Wer aber das Abenteuer sucht, dem raten wir, sich mit einem unserer best ausgebildetsten Skiführer in Verbindung zu setzen

You want to sleep long, but don´t miss the fun on the slopes? No problem, you can race into the valley at late hours on the floodlit piste at the cable car. Whether day or night, safety must not be neglected at rapid downhills.

If you hire at INTERSPORT Schneider, base station cable car, you will be properly equipped with a helmet and protective gear. Valuable safety information can be received on top of it for free by the competent INTERSPORT Rent employees!

Snowboarders and freestylers take note: In Flachau, you are exactly right, if you like cool performances on the board. You can practice your moves on kicker line, rail combo, half pipe and jib line to perfection in the Absolut Park. All obstacles are shaped and maintained daily. This is also true for the rental equipment at INTERSPORT Rent, base station cable car: The equipment is tuned and optimized by modern machines – therefore a maximum of fun is guaranteed!

The Familypark Rosskopf in Zauchensee waits with creative set-up - ideal for small and tall rookies to improve the skills to know the snowpark lifestyle. The playground for shred-youngsters is easy reachable with the Rosskopfbahn. kickers for first airtime-experiences, spine and mushroom for jib-action, boxes and other highlights provide for much fun and adventure on two lines.

The ice stock sports facility of the Altenmarkt ice rifle club is open daily from 4.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Every Wednesday between 6.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m. the ice rifle club organizes a free guest shooting. Please register with Rupert Nocker by Tuesday 5.00 p.m.

Zum Shuttleberg verkehren die Linienbusse in beiden Tälern als Gratisskibusse.

Zwischen Wagrain – Kleinarl und zwischen Radstadt – Flachauwinkl fahren, bis auf Weiteres, die Linienbusse im Winterfahrplan, mit den Haltestellen an den Talstationen der Bergbahnen.

Die Haltestellen am Shuttleberg sind:

In Kleinarl – am Parklatz der Talstation Champion Shuttle.
In Flachauwinkl – am  Parkplatz der Talstation Sunshine Shuttle.
