Arrival by car
With its proximity to the City of Salzburg and the Tauern Motorway A10, it’s easy and comfortable to reach St. Johann-Alpendorf by car. In front of the lifts there are enough free parking spaces available.

Coming from Graz: Motorway A9 – exit 69 Selzthal – Ennstal Bundesstraße B320 towards Radstadt, Schladming, Liezen – Altenmarkt B320 – towards Wagrain on B163

Arrival by train
If you arrive by train, get off at Intercity station St. Johann im Pongau. Tip: The ÖBB Railjet takes you directly to St. Johann. From there, St. Johann-Alpendorf and your hotel are best reached by taxi, bus or hotel shuttle service. From the express train station St. Johann i. Pongau, free ski buses will transfer the passengers from all arriving trains directly to St. Johann – Alpendorf, where they can enter the ski area. And there’s even more to it: all those who arrive by train can purchase a discounted combination ticket (train and ski pass) at all Austrian train stations before they arrive.
Arrival by plane
The ski area Snow Space Salzburg in St. Johann – Alpendorf is well-connected to the public transportation network – the post buses of the ÖBB drive to Alpendorf every half an hour or hour and with the city buses you can get from St. Johann to Alpendorf for free. Check the timetable information. As a special special for all those guests arriving from Salzburg, there is a free ski bus that will take you directly to the ski area. Arrival by plane
If you arrive by plane, we recommend booking a flight to Salzburg (app. 50 minutes away) or Munich (about two hours away).
From both W. A. Mozart airport in Salzburg and Franz-Josef-Strauß Airport in Munich, St. Johann-Alpendorf is best reached with a shuttle bus or taxi. Or use the free ski shuttle bus from the city of Salzburg to reach St. Johann-Alpendorf.
