Trail running in the Lichtenstein gorge

St. Johann is famous for the Liechtensteinklamm gorge, which has been developed for 150 years and is 4 km long (1 km of which is accessible) with gorges up to 300 metres deep. Perfect for a trail run. We want to start the season for everyone, according to the motto ‘experience instead of results’. Trail running in the largest and most impressive gorge in the Alps.

From 2.30 pm, all starters will run through the gorge to the waterfall at the end (1 km with 100 m elevation gain and 440 steps). You will have 1 hour to experience the gorge and make memories.

The starting signal for the 2nd Liechtensteinklamm Trail is given at 3 pm. Neutralised, the field runs through the gorge via the helix built in 2020. We then arrive at the exit of the gorge and the race is opened from the car park. We then continue for 6 km and 300 metres of climbing on the road and around the most beautiful trails of the Liechtensteinklamm gorge. The total distance is 7 km and 350 metres in altitude with 440 steps.
Please note: During the competition, the gorge is closed to visitors from approx. 13.00 to 15.30!
Due to the conditions in the gorge, a maximum of 100 participants can start.
