Each ski region presents you with not just one, but several fantastic places that you shouldn't miss. How you can win at the same time
This winter, you will not only be rewarded with incredible views when you visit the spots, but also with lots of prizes. You can collect the various spots under the Ski amadé SENSATIONS Challenge. All you have to do is log into the app, scan the respective QR code on site and you'll be in the lottery pot if you visit 2 or more SENSATIONS. The great thing is that you will find at least 2 SENSATIONS in each ski region, so the chance to win is within your grasp. A challenge wouldn't be a challenge if you didn't rise in level with more SENSATIONS visited. You can collect from Bronze level (2-9 SENSATIONS visited), Silver (10-19 SENSATIONS visited) to Gold (20 or more SENSATIONS visited). My favourite place in Snow Space Salzburg
There are a total of 6 sensational places to explore in Snow Space Salzburg:
- In Flachau, the Hermann Maier FIS World Cup course with the Starthaus photo point
- In Wagrain-Kleinarl, the Top of Snow Sapce Salzburg photo spot, the G-LINK, the Panorama Link and the Grießenkar photo spot
- In St. Johann, the Geisterturm viewing platform
Here I describe my route to my personal highlight: I'm on the first gondola at 08:30 on the dot up to the first spot on my bucket list: the Grießenkar photo spot. The photo spot is located at the Starjet 3 / Flying Mozart mountain station, so it can be reached via several lifts. Once at the top, you are rewarded with an incredible view over the peaks of the Salzburger Sportwelt. White gold and sun-drenched peaks as far as the eye can see. It doesn't take long to get your mobile phone out. If you need a photo of yourself, there is even a photo point here that will take a picture of you after scanning your ski pass. Finally, of course, I pulled out my mobile phone and scanned the QR code. A green tick confirms my scan and the hunt can continue to the other sensational places.
Conclusion: Skiing is already a lot of fun anyway. The Ski amadé SENSATIONS Challenge turns your day of skiing into a great scavenger hunt, which in the best case scenario is also rewarded with cool prizes.
