Wir, die Alpine Guides Gastein, sind staatlich geprüfte Bergführer, Skilehrer und Skiführer, Mountainbikeguides, Mitglieder der Bergrettung und Lawinenkommission Bad Hofgastein.

Nicht nur die intensive Ausbildung, sondern auch die jahrelange Erfahrung im alpinen Gelände und abseits der präparierten Pisten sowie die pure Leidenschaft zu den Bergen, haben unser Wissen in unserem Beruf vertieft und gefestigt.

Our pleasure hotel is located in the heart of Altenmarkt, near Zauchensee, and is the ideal starting point for all these activities. With us you can be who you are. Our large garden is located in the center of Altenmarkt and is set up like a park. Our area comprises 3 houses: a wellness house, our country house, the main house with restaurant and a rustic alpine hut in the center.

A built 90% of wood in 1932 hut. It offers a breathtaking view of the Pinzgauer Kalkalpen and the Leoganger Steinberge or the Hochkönig. After skiing or after a hike, we will spoil you with all kinds of delicious treats, with products from our own farm.

Anyone who strives for higher goals and has the necessary commitment will find all the opportunities for challenges on the mountain at the Klaus Ski School, especially since the Hochkönig region and our experienced ski instructors open all doors for this. Adrenaline-filled variant trips with steep slopes, deep snow or bumps are still the ultimate for freeriders and individualists.

In Grossarltal there are numerous tours of varying lengths and degrees of difficulty invite.

Every week, Berg-Gesund offers sampler ski tours as well as easy-to-moderate ski tours. Aside from enjoying a marvelous ski tour, you will also learn how to use your shovel, probe and transponder correctly. - www.berg-gesund.at

Only about 200 metres away from the hotel is the entrance point to our family ski area in Filzmoos, which is also part of Austria's largest ski association, Ski amadé. The skiing area is an absolute insider tip for connoisseurs and the snow-hungry. Local produce is a priority for us. Basically, our aim is to process as many products as possible from local animals, local farmers and sustainable agriculture. Whether on a plate or in a glass, we conjure up excellent products that will inspire you.
