The ultra-modern 10-seater gondola of the Planai main cable car takes you quickly and comfortably directly from Schladming town centre to the active Planai excursion mountain. There are a multitude of options open to you here: whether it's a hike on the Planai panoramic circular trail, flowing trail fun in the Bikepark Schladming or adventurous family fun in Hopsiland, there is plenty on offer for young and old.
Summit enjoyment, scenic views and an action-packed descent with the mountain go-karts take centre stage for all visitors to the Hochwurzen panoramic mountain. The Hochwurzen summit lift takes you up to an altitude of 1,850 metres, where many hikes and fast-paced family fun start.
The Tauern cable car at Hauser Kaibling takes you directly up to 1,870 metres above sea level.

The 8-person cable car "Preunegg Jet" brings you directly into a beautiful hiking and day trip area. You could also visit the summer snow display, showing "water drops to snow crystals.” For those who love the idyllic natural world, then the Gassel lakes – especially the mirror lake – on the Reiteralm are perfect, and the reflection of the impressive Dachstein, ensures that you will be more than impressed.
Rittis Coaster: On the Rittisberg, you can whiz down the all-weather summer toboggan run at leisure or at high speed.
At over 2,700 metres, the Dachstein Glacier offers breathtaking views of Austria's mountain peaks. Even the ascent with the panoramic gondola is an experience in itself. The reopening of the completely renovated and modernised mountain station in May 2024 marks the start of a new era of enjoyment on the Dachstein Glacier with a new range of restaurants for culinary summit victories, additional viewing platforms & photo hotspots and new attractions & glacier highlights.
