Filzmoos is well-known as a village full of culinary delights. In addition to the top female chef, Johanna Maier, there are a number of smaller catering establishments contributing to this reputation. Plus the resort is also referred to as a mecca for hot-air balloonists, as balloon weeks have been taking place for many years now and the “Balloon Night” is a top event.
