The folk music "Skihüttenroas" has become a tradition in the Hochkönig region. At all participating huts our guests can expect traditional folk music and regional specialties.
On this day, great emphasis is also placed on customs and tradition. In addition to the traditional "Schnalzer", which provide exciting moments, you can expect sounds of the "Alphorn" and "Weisenbläser". Traditional music from various folk groups can be heard in and around the ski huts. In addition, "Nostalgieskifahrer" with their nostalgic equipment can be seen in the whole skiing area. There you might feel transported back to earlier times and experience tradition live.
On 120 kilometers of slopes true skiing pleasure is waiting for you. Once you have arrived at the huts, you will experience musical and culinary delights at the highest level. In addition to the traditional dishes at all participating huts, the "höchster Bauernmarkt der Alpen" (highest farmer's market in the Alps) takes place at some of the huts. At the market stations of the local farmers, their own products are sold. So you can take a piece of pleasure home with you.
