The Fulseck, the ski mountain for the Dorfgastein - Grossarltal ski circuit, is so ideally situated that from the summit area you can see the highest mountains in the country from the Großglockner in the south-west to the Hochkönig in the north and the Hohe Dachstein in the north-east from one location. Right here, not far from the summit station of the Gipfelbahn - Fulseck cable car, we have built the ‘Dachsteinblick’ viewing platform on the foundations of the old T-bar lift. In this way, a magnificent panoramic hotspot has been realised with minimal intervention in nature. The best thing about it: the railing is made of shatterproof glass so that even the ski minis can admire the view.
Simply relax and unwind. Cosy up in the Hollywood swing on the Kieserl and enjoy the snow-covered mountain world without thinking about anything.
The desire to spend an active, fulfilled life unites most of us. Moments together with our family as well as time for ourselves are valuable, but – unfortunately – often rare commodities. We at the Bergzeit Hotel, invite you to turn these important desires into reality. On holiday in the Salzburger Land region you will feel how nature’s energy and joy will restore your inner balance and take you back to your roots.
Since we know how precious having the time to take it slow is, we will, of course, support this process. We will thus look after your every need throughout your stay and provide personal input. Experience the hotel’s unique blend of charming Italian hospitality and Austrian cordiality as well as the extensive sports and activity programme, designed to the needs of younger and older guests alike. Being in the right place at the right time – that is what we call a perfect holiday.

In winter, when the cold mountain air of the Schladminger Tauern whips across your face outside, the smell of homemade Kaiserschmarren wafting over from the Schafalm lures you inside the cozy hut. The friendly staff there do their part to guarantee a perfect break before your next run down the Planai. In the winter months, the Schafalm is also home to a number of woolly four-legged creatures, "Valais blacknose sheep" who spend the winter in the adjacent barn (which you are also invited to peek inside), before returning to the lush green alpine meadows of the Planai in summer. An absolute highlight at the Schafalm, especially for younger guests.
