The wide slope and open terrain are perfect for children, rookies and returners. Those wanting to demonstrate their skills can do so on the Michaela-Kirchgasser-FIS-run. Cross country skiers will not miss out in Filzmoos either. The high altitude cross country track with 16 km on the Rossbrand mountain is easily accessible with the Papageno cablecar. Skigebiete-test.de has awared Filzmoos "TOP skia area" in the category "skiareas with up to 20 kilometers".

Einen kostenlosen Service für einen entspannten Skiurlaub in Snow Space Salzburg, Ski amadé, bietet der gratis Skibus. St. Johann in Salzburg verfügt über ein dichtes Skibusnetz, dass allen Wintersportlern zur Verfügung steht. Durch das top Angebot an öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, kann bei der Anreise auf den Privat-PKW verzichtet werden. Skifahrer und Snowboarder fahren in ganz Ski amadé kostenlos mit den jeweiligen Skibussen zwischen den Skigebieten und der jeweiligen Region.

The Fichtel country on Hochbifang in Altenmarkt
On the Altenmarkt side of the Radstadt / Altenmarkt there on Hochbifang a unique forest with very special trees. In this forest grow namely spruces with extraordinary abilities! Every year in winter the spruce throw their Fichtenzapfen on the forest floor, and from some of these pins there are formed small creatures that exist only in this forest in Altenmarkt: the Fichtel!
