From June 22 to August 31, 2024, Bad Gastein will once again shine with art. Festival director Andrea von Goetz is once again curating an exciting and diverse program. As part of the 14th sommer.frische.kunst, local and regional artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their works under the motto "Show Your Art" for the first time this year. From June 21 to 23, their works will be presented in the historic power plant.
The grand opening of "art:badgastein" will take place from July 12 to 14. For the third edition of the first art fair in the Alps, twelve international and national galleries will be exhibiting at the Bad Gastein power station.
The opening of the master class exhibitions will take place on July 26 and 27. Young artists from the universities of Munich and Vienna will present their works at the Kraftwerk.
The "Stammtisch für Alle" project in cooperation with Salzburg's Trakl Haus invites you to join experts for a discussion about the importance of pubs for the social life of village communities and the development of alternative spaces with comparable functions. The art project "raising flags", which has already caused a stir in Vienna, can also be admired. 20 international artists present individually designed flags on the peaks and in the natural landscapes of Gastein.
